A giant bright light lit up the Russian sky on Friday morning, crashing into the south-central city of Chelyabinsk - injuring almost one thousand people, blowing out windows in factories and homes.
Russian blogger Alla Yeryomichev, who lives in the city wrote:
No sound. And I thought how very strange ... and then bang! Several times. Our windows and balconies were closed but not tightly and they swept open and everything that was on the windowsills was thrown into the middle of the room.
Luckily there were no deaths reported. But the spectacular site in the sky was captured on video.
