This storm has wreaked havoc across the US and it's now headed our way. So how much will we get?
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Orange, Sullivan, Eastern Columbia, Western Ulster, and Western Green counties until to 7pm Thursday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Dutchess, Eastern Greene, Western Columbia, Eastern Ulster,
National Weather Service spokesman Christopher Vaccaro told the Poughkeepsie Journal:
It seems like in the Hudson Valley, there may be 1 to 3 inches of snow. As you head further north or west, you might see greater accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, but those are higher elevations.
In addition, winds could gust up to 55 mph in the area, causing blowing snow to hinder the ride home tonight.
