There were two incidents of a man in a vehicle trying to lure children on their way to or from school.
The first happened at about 3pm Tuesday when a female student was walking home in the town of Hurley. A man in a white vehicle motioned her to get into his car, she refused and immediately went to Myer Elementary school to report the incident.
On Wednesday, a 13 year old in Hyde Park was waiting for her bus on Circle Drive when she was approached by a man in a white van shortly before 8am. He told her he was looking for his dog and asked her to get in to help look for it. She also said no and the man drove off.
The vehicle is described as a white full-size Ford van with tinted windows and gold NY plates.
If you have any information, you are asked to call police immediately.
