The Powerball jackpot is at a record $425 million and seven-time lottery winner Richard Lustig has some simple tips: 

Don't play greedy, play smart!

• Always play the same numbers
• Don't use quick picks unless you're an infrequent player
• Don't spend money you don't have on lottery tickets. In other words, don't take money you need for groceries, rent, and other necessities and use it for lottery tickets. 
• Pool your money with friends or co-workers and split the prize. A few million dollars is still a lot of money!
