Now, here's some help with a list of ideas that dad might find useful, thoughtful and practical for Father's Day:
MAKE HIS FAVORITE DESSERT: As corny as this may sound, any dad would love to have his favorite dessert or after dinner snack prepared for him by his child! My husband just loooooves, when his daughter's bake him a batch of cookies or home-made banana bread!
MEMORABLE KEY CHAIN: All dads carry many keys....keys for the house, the car, the motorcycle, the garage, his work keys, etc. You can find dad a really cool key chain that maybe has a heart felt message on it that he'll see almost daily and be reminded of his wonderful children.
FUNNY GRILLING APRON: In our house, my husband is the grillmaster! (As much as he claims that he cooks....please!)...he can grill a mean steak, pork or even pizza on the BBQ! This would be perfect if the dad in your life commands this culinary task.
MEMORY BOX: At the end of the day most dads accumulate little pieces of paper with notes to themselves, etc. Making a memory box for dad to put these notes all in one place over the next 12 months would be very useful. So when the time comes for him to remember that specific tool he wanted to pick up or the website he needed to visit, he can go to his memory box and, hopefully, find it there!
